Job Title: Market Access Manager (Lebanon, Syria, and Iran)

Location: Lebanon

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Market Access Manager with experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly in healthcare Market Access, Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, or Marketing. This role will lead efforts to ensure optimal access to Our Company’s portfolio—including Oncology, Vaccines, and NLP—across Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.

The position requires strategic planning, effective stakeholder engagement, and a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape in the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving access strategies that support patient needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market assessments to identify opportunities and challenges in accessing healthcare markets in Lebanon and Syria.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies (Ministry of Health), Strategic Healthcare Centers (SHCs), and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across therapeutic areas (TAs).Partnership Development: Strengthen partnerships with oncology strategic accounts to facilitate collaboration and improve patient access to oncology therapies.Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with market access objectives and ensure competitive positioning.Reimbursement Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute reimbursement strategies that facilitate patient access to our products.Policy Advocacy: Monitor and influence health policy developments that impact market access and reimbursement processes.Legislative Monitoring: Work closely with the Value, Access, and Development (VD&A) team to monitor legislative changes related to market access and assess their implications for our products.Submission Preparation: Assist in preparing and submitting pharmaco-economic studies to regulatory bodies and payers, ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines.Action Planning: Advise on action steps based on legislative changes and market dynamics to optimize access strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and medical affairs teams to align market access strategies with overall business objectives.Training and Development: Provide training and support to internal teams on market access issues and best practices.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on market access performance and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.Experience: Experience in market access, pricing, or reimbursement within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is required. Candidates with relevant experience in related fields such as healthcare policy, regulatory affairs, or sales and marketing are also encouraged to apply, as transferable skills will be considered.Knowledge: Strong understanding of market access principles, healthcare systems, and reimbursement processes in the region, with a particular focus on oncology.Skills:Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including KOLs and government officials.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in English and Arabic; knowledge of French is a plus.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Additional Information

Extent of Travel: 10 -20%This opportunity is situated in Lebanon. Candidates must be based in Lebanon or be willing to move there for the position.
