**Core Job Responsibilities:**
This role focuses on developing overall company bidding & market access proposition.
This role is responsible for
1. Establish forward-looking pricing analytics to drive bidding pricing strategy and continuously improve gross-to-net performance
2. Build bidding pricing risk mitigation strategy and monitor execution.
3. Drive bidding manager and commercial manager in the region, interpret the business impact of bidding policy to bidding working group that comes from cross function / region (GA, RA,RD,MKT, KA, MA,RSM, etc.), thus to help on the execution of bidding strategy in the region and actively response to regional bidding and second round negotiation.
4. payer and market access strategy for Drug& Medical Food portfolio, including strategies on NRDL, NEDL, DRG, DIP, HE and policy shaping.
5. analyzing policy insights and build action plans, programs, new initiatives in terms of payer engagement, value-based pricing, healthcare projects to identify business opportunities
6. collaborating with GA, RA, Medical and BU sales and marketing, KA, Commercial etc. to achieve company Bidding &MA goal.
**Position Accountability/Scope:**
1. Lead VBP and bidding strategy and foresee implication and action plan , including drug and medical food category . Lead brand level NRDL strategy building including to organize cross functional taskforce, analyze annual
2. NRDL policy, understand brand knowledge, build pricing scenarios and enable sales, marketing and KA to complete key external stakeholder coverage. Eventually achieve company NRDL goal.
3. Lead brand level NEDL strategy building including:
+ Cooperate with GA to do NEDL policy analysis and identify the policy insights
+ Co work with brand team to work out the key messages for key stakeholders
+ Build action plans and play the role PMO to ensure the quality of implementation.
4. Drive new initiatives of payer program, e.g., understand CHI policy trend, cooperate with Association to shape CHI policy, build CHI case studies etc.
5. Drive DRG&DIP strategy cross BU, establish regular taskforce including BU sales & marketing, KA, to analyze DRG&DIP impact on business and work out hospital-based strategy to increase opportunities and mitigate the risks.
6. Regional market access project design for engagement of Key provincial stakeholders and regional policy shaping. (OPD, local CHI, healthcare projects etc.)
7. Update China MA policy trend to global MA, pricing and HE teams.
8. National drug and Medical food Bidding strategy and make sure excellent execution every bidding case while synergy with sales ,MKT ,Medical and commercial team .
9. China MND market access and bidding capability building.
**Education required:**
Bachelor’s degree or above is required and major on pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine is preferred.
MBA / MPA is plus.
**Experience/Training required:**
1. 5-10 years’ experiences working on bidding &market access area in pharmaceutical industry.
2. Fundamental knowledges about the China health care system and national payer insights etc.
3. Strong cross-functional project management skills. Proven success in leading cross-functional team activities. Manage and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders
4. Strong business acumen, strategic and innovative thinking, clear logic and analytical skills.
5. Quick learner with passion to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent communication & presentation skills (English and Chinese, both oral and written)
7. Commercial management experience is plus
