Maritime Change Management Analyst

The Maritime Change Management Analyst ensures that appropriate change management processes are in place and complied with in accordance with company requirements and industry best practices. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining oversight of all planned maritime system changes including assessment of all downstream integration and reporting impacts. Additionally the position will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust UAT programs as well as up to date training and reference materials. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in change management, and a deep understanding of maritime operations.

Essential Functions:

Develop and implement change management plans to support project initiatives and organizational changes.          Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their involvement in the change process. Provide training and support to staff to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems. Monitor the progress of change initiatives and report on their effectiveness to senior management. Ensure all change initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate any associated risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is preferred.       Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in change management, preferably within the maritime or transportation industry. Proven experience in developing and implementing change management strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI to analyze and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders is a must.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Scope: This role ensures that change initiatives are effectively managed and implemented across both shore and fleet operations, by analyzing, planning, and executing change initiatives to improve operational efficiency and compliance.  Problem solving:  The role requires the ability to analyze complex situations, develop strategic plans, and implement solutions to ensure successful change management. Impact: The role has a significant impact on the business by improving operational efficiency, compliance, and overall organizational effectiveness. Leadership:  The role requires leadership in managing change initiatives, including coordinating with various departments and leading training sessions.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
