Job Description Marine Superintendent (Dry) – Limassol, Cyprus

Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a long-standing and highly regarded shipping company to recruit a Marine Superintendent (Dry) for their team in Limassol, Cyprus.

The Role: As a Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a fleet of dry cargo vessels. You will oversee vessel performance, support Masters and crew, and ensure adherence to international regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISM, ISPS, MLC, and TMSA). Conduct vessel inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Provide guidance to shipboard management on safety and operational matters. Liaise with flag states, class societies, and relevant authorities. Support emergency response procedures and crisis management.

The Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a Marine Superintendent and a Master/Chief Officer on Dry Cargo. Strong understanding of Dry Cargo operations and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills. EU working entitlement is preferred.
