Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipe Welders for a project located in and around Freeland, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience plus $164/Per Diem to travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Preparation and layout Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, drawings and piping schematics Prepare and align pipe joints for welding, beveling, cleaning, fitting and tack welding Select correct filler metals, consumables and welding processes Welding fabrication Perform welding on a variety of piping systems, fuel, lube oil, hydraulics, fire main, potable water and steam SMAW, stick, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, MIG and FCAW FluxcoreInstallation, repair and weld pipe spools, flanges, brackets and support for shipboard systems Repair cracked, damaged or corroded piping and fittingsPerform hot-work aboard vessels Inspection, testing and conduct visual inspections of welds for defects Prepare welds for non-destructive testing such as xray, dye penetrant, ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspection Repair and/or re-weld as necessary Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of Marine Welder experience Company DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
