About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Waterfront/Marine Structural Project Manager to lead complex waterfront infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in structural and geotechnical engineering, project management, and regulatory permitting. You will play a key role in managing clients, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for coastal and marine environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and review advanced structural and geotechnical analyses for waterfront infrastructure.Manage design efforts for bulkheads, seawalls, pile-supported platforms, breakwaters, revetments, stabilized embankments, and MSE systems.Guide the preparation and submission of regulatory permit applications (NYSDEC, USACE, NYC SBS).Oversee technical reports, construction documentation, and project correspondence.Direct field investigations and structural inspections of waterfront facilities.Provide engineering oversight during construction activities.Coordinate multiple projects and ensure timely delivery.Develop proposals, draft change orders, review invoices, and maintain client relationships.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseProficiency in AutoCADStrong background in structural engineering and project managementExperience in waterfront design and marine engineeringPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with geotechnical software such as RISA 3D, DeepEX, and LPILEExperience with regulatory permitting and coastal infrastructureExcellent communication and leadership abilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
