Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for a project located on the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Troubleshoot electrical equipment and circuitsMaintain & repair generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, electrical motors, distribution panels, alarms & lighting circuitsConduct insulation resistance measurements or electrical cables to determine replacement or repairs neededInstallation/alterations to electrical systems aboard shipsMaintain adequate inventories or electrical spare parts & requisition replacement parts as required Maintain electrical system maintenance histories, notating dates, extent of repairs and/or alterations
Requirements:
Must have OSHA 10, Maritime & Fire-watch; OSHA 10 may be provided to qualified candidatesMust pass background check & drug screen Must be familiar with EPISM requirementsMust be able to perform both standard item 00916 & A 00936 Must be able to read & interpret government drawingsMust be able to distinguish color code phasing orange, brown, yellow, black, white & redMust pass standard Jaegers test, read J1 letters or equivalent with or without corrective lenses & pass color vision testMust have 3+ years Marine experience Company DetailsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
