Pertemps Technical are recruting for a Mapping Coordinator to join one of our clients based in Almondsbiry, BS32.

You will be joining a team that deliver digital map-based solutions to a wide range of clients across the utility sector. This role is key to producing their Utility Search Map product—a digital model that brings together utility asset data into one clear, accurate map.

You’ll be based in the Almonsbdury Bristol office (with flexible hybrid working), and will play a vital part in digitising and georeferencing raster data, checking outputs from the team, and working to high standards of precision and quality.

Location: Almondsbury, BS32 (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Type: 6 month Contract | Contingent Worker 

What You’ll Be DoingDigitising and georeferencing raster data into AutoCAD / GIS-based formatsProducing high-quality utility mapping deliverablesChecking the accuracy and quality of outputs produced by the teamManaging your own workload effectively, raising any issues when neededLiaising with clients, utility companies, and internal teams to resolve queriesProcessing new map ordersSupporting continuous improvement of mapping processesHelping to enhance the value of our products and servicesProviding support to other teams within our wider practiceWhat We’re Looking For Essential:
Experience using AutoCAD and ArcGIS ProUnderstanding of GIS principles and digital mapping methodologiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management and ability to multitaskConfident communicator with clear, concise communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Organised, professional, and solution-focusedDesirable:
