The Manulife Corporate Management Trainee Program is a forward-thinking graduate development program that provides business rotational assignments, social learning, and advocacy experience. Upon completion, program graduates are offered final placement that align with their business and career interests.

Position Responsibilities:

Management Trainee is a comprehensive 18-month graduate program where Management Trainee complete the following:

Business Rotations – after induction, you will spend 18 months through three six-month rotations in the main business functional areas. It’s your chance to find the team you fit into best and begin your Manulife career.

Community project – create and pitch a business case for a community cause that you might wish to support.

Development weeks – undertake an exclusive series of classroom learning and experiential programs sponsored by Manulife senior executives to help you develop core business skills.

Mentors and Buddies – Benefit from being assigned a Mentor (typically a senior leader) to help you with your career and personal development and well as business buddies to help you navigate our global organization.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited and reputable institution

Candidates from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply, with strong academic performance required

Open to candidates with less than 2 years of full-time work experience

Demonstrated enthusiasm and a deep-seated interest in pursuing a career within the insurance corporate sector

Relevant internship or work experience within insurance or financial institutions is desirable

A strong propensity for creativity and innovation

Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively

Proficiency in English is required

Well-rounded, digitally minded, and customer-focused

Have engaged in social work and extra-curricular activities
