Job Family Definition:

Test team is chartered to provide highly  available manufacturing TEST & Automation solutions to manufacturing partners for both new (NPI) and existing (sustaining) products.

We are currently seeking a senior full stack web Development Engineer to work at our Bengaluru, India location.  The  web development engineer will be an experienced self-starter who will be responsible for architecting and developing highly available web-based solutions including data collection/analytics tools.  The role has the project level expertise and requires the technical – hands-on – expertise to design, develop and test self-healing front & back-end WEB framework including management capabilities plus owning incidents to satisfactory resolution. 

Management Level Definition:

The role will be operating within a brownfield environment, in parallel to working on projects that will instantiate greenfield solutions and be responsible for transitional activities. The UNIX/Linux operating systems include, but are not limited to, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Ubuntu. It is a heterogeneous environment requiring broad knowledge of external identity providers, hybrid on-premises and cloud hosting (bare-metal, virtualization, Kubernetes, containers) as well as integrations with internal, third-party automation, and management tools.

What you'll do:

Define, Design and Develop scalable web-based test automation platform supporting manufacturing partners.Project level expertise to plan, evaluate and deliver all aspects of web solutions and its associated components.Coordinate & collaborate with IT teams and subject matter experts across functions, including IT, Operations, Network, Compute, Hypervisor, Application, and Lab Management.Create high and low-level functional design specs, workflow, connectivity documentation.Perform in-depth troubleshooting and reverse engineering to support incident/problem.Experience with unit, integration and system test concepts.Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsPossess a demonstrated track record of planning and implementation of complex DB projects.Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects of varying size and scope in a fast-paced environment.

What you need to bring:

Minimum bachelor’s in a CS or EE degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 7 years of professional experience working on large front & backend web framework architecture.In-depth and strong hands-on proficiency in the following areasBack End Technologies – Core Java, EJB, JPA, HIBERNATE, Python, Django, Rails, Spring, LaravelFront End Technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQueryRelational Databases – MySQL, OracleNoSQL Databases – Apache HBase, Mongo DBCloud/Micro Service Technologies – Docker, Kubernetes, Vert.xWeb Services – SOAP, REST.Experience of on-promise, hybrid and cloud hosting environments.Self-starter, proactive and must be able to handle multiple complex tasks .All rounded experience of distributed networks, IP services (DNS,NTP,DHCP,BOOTP,HTTP), NFSv3/4, (Authentication/Authorization), SSH, LDAP, SSSD, Kerberos ,and Active Directory.Ability to independently solve complex problems with the operating system.Taking ownership, being self-sufficient, ability to prioritize workloads and execute daily tasks.Strong communication skills – Written and oral.Able to work well independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) and supporting infrastructure.microservices architecture design and implementationIn depth knowledge of Kubernetes platform and Container/Docker implementations.Experience with Configuration Management, workflows and automation.Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, frameworks and best practices including operating system control sets.Knowledge of AWS Cloud Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Containers, Access Management.
