Summary

Responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of cutting-edge training for all levels of manufacturing, including training needs assessment, content development, curriculum design, program coordination, LMS administration and implementation, including but not limited to e-learning initiatives, qualification tracking and ongoing evaluations. Manages daily functions of site (assigned manufacturing facility) related training responsibilities to satisfy the training needs of the organization and associates. Supports the Training Manager in building a Center of Training Excellence for the manufacturing team.

Position Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and designing comprehensive aerospace manufacturing training programsTrack and manage employee training progress, certifications, and competenciesConduct engaging and interactive on-site training sessions for manufacturing personnelAid in creating detailed work instructions and training materials aligned with industry standardsUtilize training management software/tools to monitor and enhance training efficiencyEnsure adherence to aerospace industry standards (AS9100), safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols in training materials and instructionCollaborate with subject matter experts to align training programs with industry best practicesEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs and generate insightful reportsAssess and adapt training programs based on evolving industry trends and technological advancementsFacilitate hands-on training sessions to enhance practical skills and knowledgeCoordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring the participation and commitment of all relevant team membersFoster a positive learning environment and actively engage with manufacturing personnelContinuously improve training processes and materials to meet organizational objectivesMaintain open communication with stakeholders to address training needs and challengesOther relevant duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

Associate degree is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience2 or more years direct experience in organizational developmentThorough knowledge of manufacturing processes or equivalentProject management experience - manages multiple, complex training projectsComputer proficiency; Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio

Physical Demands

Special Requirements:

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.

The salary range for this role is:

$23 - $32
