Job Responsibilities:

Essential Experience:

City and Guilds toolmaker qualification and previous post apprenticeship –Experience in an Automotive tooling environmentExperience of assembling mechanical and pneumatic componentsExperience of working with hydraulic or power presses in production or try out disciplinesAbility to suitably identify and prepare materialsWelding of steel fabrications (Tig, Mig or Arc).Non CNC Machining skillsUnderstanding of quality procedures and first off and last off verifications.Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Ability to interpret engineering drawings and interrogate CAD data understanding precision measurementCI understanding to support and develop business CI initiatives

Desirable Experience:

Stamping tools, Casting tools, Injection moulding tools experience is desirable.Experience of working on hydraulic or power presses of at least 300 tons or moreExperience in mechanical integration of robotic assembly cellsOverhead crane experience (training will be given)Forklift truck experience (training will be given)Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
