This role is Temp to Hire | Onsite | The pay range for this position is between $20.00 - 26.00 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician II with experience in Lyophilization. The Manufacturing Technician II will play a critical role in the production of pharmaceutical products through the lyophilization process. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor lyophilization equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Set up, prepare, and load product batches onto lyophilizers, adhering to prescribed protocols and timelines. Conduct in-process monitoring and inspections of lyophilization cycles, adjusting parameters as necessary to maintain product integrity. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lyophilization equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and mitigate risks to product quality. Document all production activities, including equipment logs, batch records, and deviation reports, in accordance with cGMP guidelines and regulatory standards. Participate in cross-functional teams to support process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to conduct investigations and resolve discrepancies related to lyophilization processes and products. Adhere to safety protocols and practices at all times, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to cleanroom procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine sanitation of equipment and work areas, to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with cGMP standards. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years relevant experience is required, a Bachelor's in an Engineering discipline or Life Science field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a focus on lyophilization operations. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting lyophilization equipment, including freeze dryers, condensers, and vacuum systems. Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and FDA guidelines governing pharmaceutical manufacturing. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions and procedures with precision. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across departments. #D800
