Friday through Sunday
Shift differential: 10% for Weekend AM shift

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for the manufacturing of products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will assist Thermo Fisher Scientific on the Product Finishing Team.
The hours for this role will be predominantly shift work. Flexibility to fit production requirements will be vital.
A Day in the Life:Full responsibility product manufacturingComplete all Production tasks as scheduled on a daily and weekly basis.To report any safety or production related problems.Ensure plant hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.Report and identify problems associated with machinery breakdowns.Follow SOPs with outstanding adherence and report any problems with documentation.Advise Team Leader / Production Supervisor of packaging and consumable needs.Participate in appropriate meetings and discussions as the need arises.All other reasonable tasks as may be requested by the Team Leader.Keys to Success:We are looking for a great teammate, interested in science, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills!
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperienceAt least 1 year experience working in a production environmentExperience with Good Documentation Practices and a degree in a science field is desiredKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProactive and motivatedAccepting of flexible hoursTechnical and mechanical proficiencyAble to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs
