Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong technical aptitude with basic knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, print reading, and mechanical systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to technician duties in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment Highly motivated, self-driven, and committed to continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of manufacturing experience Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, with hands-on experience in machine maintenance Principal responsibilities of the Set Up Mechanic Adhere to all plant safety and environmental policies Maintain a clean and organized workspace Monitor operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues Implement corrective actions to improve quality and equipment performance Repair or replace defective machine components, including solenoids, valves, and cylinders Perform line and machine changeovers efficiently Optimize processes to minimize setup time Meet production targets to support customer demands Complete required technical training for continuous growth and development Work collaboratively with Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers, and Leadership
