Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician efficiently, effectively, and safely cleans, sets up, and operates manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals. This role requires adherence to standard operating procedures and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, monitor, and control manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes.Clean and sanitize manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment according to SOPs.Execute production schedules to achieve production goals.Handle labeling and components correctly, including transferring, counting, FIFO, and returns.Participate actively in and support event responses.Review and author SOPs and other required documents.Identify, report, and resolve quality issues.Execute or assist in equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive, and preventative maintenance.Train fellow employees in areas of expertise and learn systems and equipment outside of own expertise.Record and review production data in BPR and associated forms.Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.Perform other accountabilities as assigned.Essential Skills1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.High school diploma.Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Experience in bioworks or similar production environments is preferred.Work Environment
The position involves working in a manufacturing facility located on International Drive in Durham. The role requires adherence to safety and environmental standards, and the technician will work shifts from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM starting Q1 2026.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
