Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Technician 2 at MilliporeSigma you will provide support for the manufacturing of products according to established protocols.
Set up and operate equipment for unit operations such as freeze drying, resin regeneration, and container filling according to manufacturing procedures.Perform material handling tasks, including moving supplies, managing stock levels, and coordinating waste removal and transfers.Execute analytical testing, inspections, and sampling, ensuring materials and processes meet quality and acceptance standards.Complete routine cleanings and assist with calibrations, following operational procedures and cleanliness standards.Communicate and document the status of operations, materials, and equipment using proper labeling and reporting methods.Report deviations and take action to resolve unsafe or noncompliant conditions, supporting compliance with safety and quality guidelines.Support minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting, submitting work orders and performing setups with guidance.Assist in training co-workers and identifying process improvements, promoting efficiency and adherence to quality systems.
Physical Attributes:
Wear PPE such as, full face respirator, air hood, gloves, boots, safety glasses, Tyvek Suits, and booties.Work in warm environments from time to time.Lift up to 50 pounds.Stand, push, pull, bend, and lift
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.Mechanical aptitude.
