Job DescriptionThe Line Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient assembly and rigorous testing of commercial units to meet high-quality standards and production goals. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the assembly of commercial units, ensuring all work aligns with engineering specifications and quality standards.Perform and oversee functional testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.Identify and resolve defects to ensure units meet performance and quality requirements before ship.Ensure all processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing methods and enhance product reliability.Monitor daily workflows to meet production targets and ensure on-time delivery.Utilize Lean and Bosch Production System (BPS) principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.Provide feedback on new designs to improve manufacturability.Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques, testing protocols, and troubleshooting methods.Enforce safety protocols, identify hazards, and address quality issues.Identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to address them.Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Technical school (preferred).3-5 years of experience in unit assembly, testing, or related manufacturing roles.Experience managing teams in a production environment.Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.Expertise in troubleshooting and functional testing of mechanical and electrical systems.Effective communication skills in English (spoken, read, and written).Be available to work overtime as necessary to meet production demands.Additional Information

The U.S. base hourly wage for this full-time position is $21 - $26/hr. Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
