About the Role  

 

Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing and production control processes and procedures to ensure successful production planning & manufacturing of crushing equipment within a fast paced manufacturing facility.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

 

Creation & Maintenance of Bill of Materials for Production & New Product DevelopmentProcessing Production & Engineering Change OrdersProcessing Machine Spec ChangesMaintenance of Takt SchedulesExecute the weekly machine configuration processProduction support to the Manufacturing DepartmentAssist in monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycleCreate & Maintain production schedulesDrive Continuous Improvement Projects

About you

 

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum HNC / HND Engineering Qualification or demonstrate extensive relevant knowledge through on job experience.Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) would be advantageousCompetent in use of Microsoft packagesExperience of 3D modelling software would be advantageousKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent multi-tasking & attention to detail skillsAbility to work under pressureGood organisational skillsLogical & Methodical approach to problem solvingAbility to work with others to meet deadlines
