What You Can Expect
Provides leadership and guidance to production employees in several manufacturing cells and/or packaging area, across all three shifts. Also provides direction to supervisors of lower level to assure the business strategic goals and objectives are met. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of organization with direct and indirect employees with superb problem solving skills.
This position is on-site Monday - Friday. Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm.
How You'll Create Impact Operational Improvement, facilitates manufacturing meetings, efficiently document productivity gains and able to recognizing employees for quality and productivity improvement accomplishments, ensuring that production rates are met and standard processes are being followed at all times.Production Planning & Customer Service, use of key production planning data & tools that make for an even flow of material, a minimum amount of money tied up in inventories and fulfill customer service.Problem Solving, leading problem-solving efforts, coach team members in resolving conflicts, achieving results and provide ongoing training. Responsible for these activities across all shifts.Developing Employees & Yourself, Coaching, motivating, counseling, training and recognizing employees for a job well performed. Explain work processes and complete performance appraisals with action plans.Communicating manufacturing and corporate objectives to the team and provide strategic direction on how each employee can contribute to the achievement of the business key goals and objectives.Assure the quality of the product and/or service performed in his/her assigned area. Perform NCE’s investigation and support NCR investigations.Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity related to the product, process, safety and any of our quality systems, and initiate, recommend and provide solutions through designated channels.Maintain and use statistical process control methods to constantly improve the business KPI’s.Ensure full Compliance with departmental, company, government, and regulatory laws and regulations. Ensure compliance to standard HR policies, legal requirements and diversity guidelines.Managing a High Performance Team, conduct periodic performance evaluations and maintain records and documentation as necessary.
