The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees and supervises the implementation of manufacturing activities in one or more production areas, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals as well as ensuring cost objectives are met. The position prioritizes production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, material supplies, and coordinates procedures. This individual may make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures, direct, and indirect labor; develops schedules and proposes staffing requirements; and directly supervises associates.

This position reports to the Senior Plant Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team, located in San Jose and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead a team of skilled associates, including interviewing, hiring, counseling, focusing, write and give performance appraisals, training and development, adherence to company policies and procedures, approving hours worked and time off.Responsible for building the best team, training the associates on standard manufacturing processes and ensuring all Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) and Lean initiatives are met and sustained.Typical responsibilities include coordination of daily production requirements, managing and training a diverse workforce of dedicated associates and implementing lean conversion initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school degree with 8+ years exp., OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years exp., OR Master's degree with 3+ years exp., and 2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferredExperience in leading continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing processes, and kaizen project teams is desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and instruction skillsFamiliarity with various technical manufacturing processes

The salary range is $105,000-$115,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
