Manufacturing Supervisor – 3rd Shift
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Pay: $32–$37/hr
Schedule: Training on 1st shift, then transition to 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM). Occasional weekend work (Sat/Sun) based on workload.

Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong electrical or control panel background? We’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift operations, overseeing a team of 10–20 manufacturing professionals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about quality and safety, and brings a strong track record of job stability.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise a team of 10–20 manufacturing team members during the 3rd shift
Provide daily direction and feedback to ensure production, quality, and safety goals are met
Interview, hire, train, and onboard new team members
Conduct performance evaluations and assign mentors as needed
Support career development and promote a culture of accountability
Production & Operations:
Manage shift activities including wiring, assembly, inspection, shipping/receiving
Track and report daily production metrics
Review time sheets, production boards, checklists, and project assignments
Ensure accurate and timely project kick-offs and ordering of necessary materials and tools
Conduct standards meetings to reinforce quality and production expectations
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the liaison between engineering and manufacturing teams
Communicate effectively with management and other shift supervisors to ensure alignment
Implement management decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Enforce PPE usage and adherence to all safety protocols
Qualifications:No degree required – stable job history and relevant experience are key
5+ years in manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role
Electrical background or experience with control panel wiring strongly preferred
Comfortable reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
Mechanically inclined; skilled in using hand and power tools
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
