Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, as the Manufacturing Supervisor–Cell Culture Media-2nd Shift, at our 3506 S. Broadway location, your primary responsibility is to manage and supervise personnel and resources for manufacturing site. The Supervisor will develop subordinates’ knowledge and skills to improve performance and expand abilities. You will also coordinate the group’s efforts to accomplish departmental and company objectives in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable federal, state and company regulations (OSHA, USDA, ExciPact, ISO, etc.).
Physical Attributes:
Lift, push, pull or move up to 35 lbs independantly, 50lb assistedWear appropriate PPE such as necessary (e.g., safety shoes and safety goggles)
Shift: Monday-Friday 1:30pm to 10:30pm (with potential for off-shift/weekend work)
Who you Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) or engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) with 3+ years of manufacturing experienceOR
High School Diploma or GED and 7+ years of life science manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic chemistry and science principlesSix Sigma Green BeltExperience with Digital/Smart Manufacturing conceptsDemonstrated leadership skills and/or prior supervisory experienceAbility to manage, motivate and develop employeesKnowledge of various processing techniques and equipmentKnowledge of asceptic manufacturing processesGood interpersonal, conflict resolution, motivation, and leadership skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, to include the ability to communicate with various disciplines and levels both one-on-one and in group communication
