Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our powder coating operations. This role is responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced metal finishing environment.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of powder coating personnel across multiple shifts (if applicable).Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.Monitor and optimize powder coating processes including surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection.Train and mentor team members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, coordinating with maintenance and engineering as needed.Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and quality reports.Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.Collaborate with quality control, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase throughput, and enhance product quality.Participate in audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field preferred.3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in powder coating or metal finishing.Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, equipment, and materials.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and safety documentation.Proficient in using production software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
