In order to fulfill our mission, we have to build a great team across a number of disciplines – ecommerce, retail, design, and manufacturing. 

We are a consumer business operating online and in our 27 retail stores, and growing. We operate three manufacturing studios in Lexington, KY, Juárez, Mexico, and Winchester, VA that allow us to deliver a high-quality custom product at an affordable price with a quick turnaround. We exist, grow, and ultimately own the market by delighting customers who trust and value us.

The Role: Studio Manager

 

Your mission:   The Studio Manager will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and team members, providing a warm, welcoming and secure environment. This role involves overseeing building access to allow entry to authorized individuals, actively monitoring and managing various facility systems, including CCTV and alarm systems, and performing routine facility perimeter checks. Additional responsibilities include vendor management, mail and package handling, and various administrative and back office duties as assigned.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Who You Are

Greeting visitors: Welcoming visitors and guiding them to their destinations within the facility

Signing in visitors: Checking in visitors and issuing visitor badges

Controlling access: Ensuring only authorized people can enter the building

Monitoring facility systems: Watching CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and panic alarm systems, reporting any issues as they arise, hourly internal perimeter check of doors and overhead doors

Managing Mail: Handle incoming mail and package deliveries, direct packages to the correct recipients

Maintain vendor contacts / service agreements

Maintain a clean and organized back office including management of conference rooms and Google Meets 

Provide preliminary support and act as a liaison for IT and HR needs.  This may include supporting team members with their timecards or basic HR inquiries.

Provide on-site assistance with recruiting events, acting as a brand ambassador

Support team activities - arranging catering, celebrations, etc 

Various administrative and back office duties as assigned

Previous experience in an administrative, or property management support role

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with visitors, staff, and vendors

Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and other property management systems

Capable of identifying and addressing security and administrative issues as they arise

Technology skills: ability to offer preliminary IT troubleshooting support, Google Meets meeting setup and troubleshooting
