Key Responsibilities:
Site Leadership and Operational Oversight: Oversee all external relationships and communications with landlord (Konasol), local authorities, suppliers, service providers and customers. Direct and manage overall operations for the site, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost. Guide and mentor the Operations Leader and production team to ensure alignment with company strategy and daily / weekly performance objectives.
Integration & Growth Lead local implementation of key Materion processes and support customer qualification requirements related to local manufacturing and supply. Work with global Materion business teams to develop new business opportunities and growth plans for the site.
Financial Management: Work with Materion finance teams to develop and implement a monthly financial close process. Monitor and review site financial performance, operational budgets, and revenues, making adjustments to enhance profitability.
Strategic and Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to support business growth of sputtering targets business in Korea and qualification of site and products at key tier 1 customers. Manage CAPEX planning and execution for the site and develop a monthly operating review process to drive key growth plans.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that operations comply with local legal and regulatory requirements. Identify potential risks and implement preventative strategies.
Leadership and Site Development: Provide technical and business leadership for the site and ensure that key capabilities are developed and maintained to meet the needs of our tier 1 semiconductor customers.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years in operations management, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and complex projects.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP and MES systems, data analytics and performance metrics.
• Understanding of mechanical equipment, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting to ensure operational continuity.
• Knowledge and experience managing global supply chains
• Ability to collaborate and lead effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment
