Performs RF testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and assembly of electronic systems and components in support of manufacturing operations.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
8+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree with 4+ years of experience
Strong hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material
Electrical background at the component level
Must be able to lift and transport up to 30 lbs
Certification or experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards
Preferred Skills:
Experience with RF calibration and metrology
Familiarity with temperature and humidity instrumentation
Environmental testing and monitoring experience
Proficiency with signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and other RF test equipment
Working knowledge of electronic theory including RF transmission, receiver circuits, analog and digital circuitry
Ability to troubleshoot RF/digital circuits to the component level
Understanding of calibration procedures for RF circuitry and test equipment
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., E3 process)
Ability to travel to other campuses for equipment support when required
Job Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate avionics electronic systems and components
Construct, maintain, and adjust test equipment used for RF testing and tuning
Perform diagnostics and fault analysis using a variety of electronic test tools
Review and follow schematics, diagrams, specifications, and test procedures
Document test results and analyze data to ensure proper functionality of units under test
Identify discrepancies in test performance and provide solutions to resolve issues
Support mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations as needed
Contribute to process improvement efforts in collaboration with engineering and production teams
Assist in developing methods and procedures to enhance the manufacturing process
Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
