Job Description
Join Rockwell Automation and help us make a impact for leading life science customers with our manufacturing and IoT software products. As MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) Recipe Architect You will analyze pharmaceutical processes and creating reliable solutions that meet our customers' needs. You'll work with our MES/MOM software products—mainly Factory Talk PharmaSuite®, and other Industry 4.0 relevant software components. You will report to the Functional Consulting Team Lead and work in a hybrid work model near our offices in Karlsruhe or Munich, Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
You serve as the primary contact for functional topics with customers, working with project/quality management, engineering and ITPerform detailed process analysis, system/recipe design concepts, and configuration activitiesDevelop pilot use cases and present proof of concepts to customersPerform fit-gap analysis and showcase functional aspects for commercial proposalsConsult and educate customer peers on our solutions, process improvement and best practicesCreate solution/process designs and convert them into functional specifications for development, validation, and maintenanceImplement technology-enabled business solutions as part of a high-talent team engaged in full-cycle MES implementation projectsBuild partnerships with customer counterparts at a functional levelFunctionally guide less experienced peers, customers and contractors on project assignmentsThe Essentials - You Will Have:
Master's degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, information systems, physics/chemistry/biology/pharma or comparable disciplin.5+ years of professional experience in a consulting, customer-facing role ideally in the manufacturing digitalization or Life Science space, engineering, maintenance or support role3+ years experience with FactoryTalk PharmaSuite® EBR Recipe AuthoringUnderstanding of MES domain knowledge, digitalization, manufacturing operations, or advanced life science processesBackground within the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices industriesExperience with connection to automation systems, ERP and LIMSKnowledge in software configuration, validated software implementation (GxP and GAMP)Interest in working in an international, multicultural environmentExcellent English and German language skills (verbal and written)Willingness to travel (approximately up to 20% of the time)The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
