The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Quality Systems Engineer to support our work with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Heavy Lift Helicopter Program Office (PMA-261).This role will focus on systems engineering, airworthiness, and CYBERSAFE policy and process support for critical naval weapons systems throughout their full lifecycle.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge naval aviation programs and contribute to the development and sustainment of critical defense systems.If you are passionate about engineering excellence and want to make a difference in national security, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Provide systems engineering expertise to enhance processes and meet the needs of emerging and existing programs.Support the development and implementation of Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies.Assist in the evaluation and analysis of Permanent Flight Clearances (PFCs) and Interim Flight Clearances (IFCs).Contribute to the Naval Aviation Technical Information Product (NATIP) program.Support integration, test and evaluation (T&E), and verification and validation (V&V) activities.Develop and maintain training materials related to systems engineering processes.Analyze and provide recommendations for sustainment engineering and obsolescence issues.Support technology improvements and updates for legacy aircraft systems

Qualifications:

Required:

U.S. Citizenship required.Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field).A current and active secret clearance is required. The program will upgrade to a Top Secret/SCI.7+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace/defense industry.Familiarity with NAVAIR systems engineering processes and DoD acquisition lifecycle.Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and technical writing abilities.

Desired:

Master's degree in Engineering or related field.Experience with naval aviation systems and airworthiness processes.Familiarity with CYBERSAFE policies and procedures.Knowledge of NATOPS and flight clearance processes.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,400 - 227,500 USD
