The **Production Supervisor** is responsible for supervising Assembly and Test Operators, and monitoring, maintaining, and controlling direct functions within the manufacturing shop. **Roles and Responsibilities:** + Train or coach employees on administrative or technical processes and procedures. + Ensure the safety of employees. + Ensure that workers have the necessary equipment and prints to perform their duties. + Resolve production issues and escalate those that require management attention. + Educate employees on quality standards and procedures. + Develop work instructions and procedures for manufacturing processes. + Conduct performance review and formal performance/career development discussions with direct reports. + Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable. **Qualifications and** **Experience:** + High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience. + Experience in supervisory roles preferred. + Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred. + Ability to read, interpret, and cany out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
