**Duration: 12 months contract** **Job Description:** + We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support production operations at our San Diego facility. + Work Schedule is 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Flexible start time; no later than 6:30 AM). + This role is hands-on and cross-functional, involving assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Sales teams. + You will serve as the first line of technical support for the production team and play an active role in process improvement and system diagnostics. **Responsibilities:** + Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. + Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. + Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. **Experience:** + 2–4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. **Skills:** + Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly and troubleshooting. + Ability to perform quality testing and process adjustments using operating data. + Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Sales. + Strong technical communication and training delivery within production teams. + Ability to support continuous improvement activities and process documentation updates. **Education:** + Equivalent experience in a similar manufacturing role will be considered. **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
