Job Description
This role is designed to support advanced manufacturing technology needs for the launch of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the rapid scaling of aircraft production to meet commercialization plans.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.Identify and address safety issues on the manufacturing floor.Support manufacturing production planning, capacity planning, line design, production execution, and operations process development.Provide production support to technicians and leads.Support the creation and review of manufacturing work instructions to ensure compliance with design requirements and company processes.Participate in the review, approval, and release of engineering definitions.Disposition non-conforming parts, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap and rework.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive or aerospace industries.Experience in aviation or automotive assembly, machining tooling, and production facilities.Hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical systems.Experience with prototype manufacturing and FAA-certified production environments.Proficiency in PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles.Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in launching new production lines or programs.Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.Strong project management capabilities and a results-driven mindset.Willingness to travel extensively to support launch programs.Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Extensive travel may be required to support launch programs. The role requires effective teamwork and adaptability to dynamic conditions.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.10 - $39.10/hr.
