This position is a unique opportunity to partner with a key innovator in the regenerative medicine sector, supporting their expanding manufacturing operations and new product development initiatives. The role is ideal for someone passionate about advancing biologic solutions in a highly regulated production environment.
Responsibilities
+ Provide daily engineering and production support to ensure timely product release.
+ Adapt priorities to meet evolving business needs.
+ Lead technical efforts focused on process improvements, capacity studies, cost savings, and yield enhancements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing processes for new products.
+ Evaluate the feasibility of new or modified production equipment.
+ Drive continuous improvement projects in manufacturing and quality systems.
+ Address and communicate technical solutions to quality concerns.
+ Support broader business goals with project management and engineering insight.
+ Use root cause analysis and statistical methodologies to solve processing challenges.
+ Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and external regulatory standards.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical/Biochemical preferred).
+ One to three years of experience working as an engineer in a regulated industry (Product Development or R&D experience preferred).
+ Demonstrated hands-on technical skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine products is a plus, including cleanroom processing, aseptic technique, tissue preservation, and AATB standards.
Work Environment
The role is based in a modern 70,000 sq ft building, reflecting a clean room environment with a business casual dress code. The standard working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, constituting a 40-hour work week. The facility operates 24 hours, five days a week, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
