Manufacturing Process Engineer
Job Description: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and process engineering, manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, particularly in FDA-regulated environments. This position is part of the Manufacturing Science and Engineering team and involves providing manufacturing engineering support to the Core Histology Consumables business unit.

ResponsibilitiesInitiate and support capital projects, including cost and capacity modeling, equipment sourcing, layout and installation planning, and startup qualifications.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and integration.Develop and apply world-class lean manufacturing skills.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years of related experience.Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects.Experience with capital projects, including equipment sourcing, layout, and installation.Process validation experience, including IQ/OQ/PQ.Proficiency in project management and tools like AutoCAD, SPC, Minitab, filling machines, and packaging machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in FDA-regulated environments, including chemical formulations, blending, filling, and packing.Proficiency in modeling production line capacity and project ROI justification.Experience in process automation and autonomation in manufacturing.Understanding of statistical process control methods.Preferred industry experience in Food/Beverage, Cosmetic, Med-device, or Consumer packaged goods.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
