We are part of a highly ambitious and global project, collaborating across multiple sites and stages.
**Your main tasks**
+ Design and optimize assembly and microfabrication processes (laser welding, PSA bonding, heat staking, ultrasonic welding, etc.) for new microfluidic products.
+ Collaborate with R&D to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) from early development stages.
+ Conduct feasibility trials, Design of Experiments (DoE), and early process validations (IQ/OQ).
+ Define critical process parameters, control strategies, and documentation including process flows and PFMEAs.
+ Support tool and material selection in collaboration with clients and procurement.
+ Lead cleanroom-based operations for insert fabrication and initial prototype production.
+ Prepare and maintain technical documentation: test protocols, reports, ECOs, SOPs.
+ Contribute to technology transfer plans by providing robust, scalable processes ready for industrialization.
+ Work in compliance with ISO 13485, internal quality systems, and client-specific requirements.
**Your ideal background**
+ Master's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
+ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in process development, ideally in medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences.
+ Experience with assembly processes and cleanroom manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of microfabrication, photolithography, or injection molding is a plus.
+ Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, DoE, SPC, FMEA, and process control methodologies.
+ Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
+ Fluency in English
