You will be part of the JBT Marel poultry division, located in Russellville, AR, reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations. We manufacture our C.A.T. brand of chillers, injectors, pumps, and plant monitoring and weighing systems for primary processing. On a given day, you may: You will manage the successful control of workflow through the different production departments. by scheduling and releasing job orders, monitoring inventory levels of parts, and understanding the techniques of lot sizing, terminology, and the application of multiple inventory control factors. Manage Advanced Planning and Scheduling outputs and take actions in managing schedules, exception reports, and job shortage reports. Work with the aftermarket department to promise lead times and expedite jobs through the production floor. As a support role to Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing and Operations, you will guide communication between all departments to improve/sustain on-time delivery. Monitor, adjust, and change "planned" dates to assist manufacturing in working on the required jobs. Create & Release job orders. Print, assemble, and distribute job packets. Work with Project Management, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing Team in implementing production plans. Work with Customer Care team to create transfer orders for aftermarket customers. Track & monitor lead-times to ensure OTD for customer orders. Promote Syteline improvements to aid in shop floor planning and scheduling. Implement RCI plans. Identify and recommend improvements to remove bottleneck in production. Analyze reports and make recommendations to improve on shop labor time variances. Prepares plans and production schedules to achieve internal and external OTD requirements. Uses Syteline ERP system to maintain dates, identify material shortages, monitor work-center loads. Oversee SIOP process, capacity planning and inventory. Requirements for the role Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college, technical school; related experience and/or training in Planning/Scheduling to be considered in-lieu of degree. MRP experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Travel & Location Typical office environment, moderate shop interaction.
