Your Role:

Produce or purify stable isotope products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others and perform operations in support of the group and department, and to maintain equipment, facilities, and utility systems. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform routine synthetic processes, assays, and unit operations. This includes charging solids, liquids, and gases to equipment, as well as performing distillation, filtration, extraction, and re-crystallization to purify products.Ensure safety and quality by following ISO 9001 and cGMP guidelines. This involves wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), participating in quality and safety training, and immediately reporting any situation that could compromise safety or quality.Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on equipment, facilities, and utility systems. You are also responsible for setting up, using, cleaning, and maintaining all required equipment and work areas.Accurately follow written procedures, MPRs, SOPs, and other work instructions. This includes completely filling out all applicable logbooks and providing complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines.Monitor chemical reactions using analytical and laboratory equipment, and distributed control systems. You are also expected to identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in improvement projects.Contribute to support functions of the lab such as preparing reagents, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste. You are also expected to communicate the status of operations, interact with other departments, and participate in quality audits.Independently complete assigned work while also contributing to group and departmental goals. This includes participating in the on-call program, backing up colleagues when needed, and communicating with coworkers and supervisors.Maintain exemplary attendance and adherence to your schedule. You are also expected to serve on committees to improve department, site, or company performance and participate in incident investigations and safety meetings.

 

Physical Attributes:

Wear Personal Protective Equipment such as a respirator and eye protection.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of work experience in a GMP manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, gas handling, mechanical, packaging, HVAC, or automative technicial role.

OR

Associate Degree in any discipline.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Science.Strong math skills.Strong communication skills.Experience using hand and air tools, pumps, and an electronic scale.
