Manufacturing Mechanic

Manufacturing Mechanic Objective

To perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. This full-time role offers opportunities to expand technical skills while ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Install, dismantle, and relocate equipment according to facility needs Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals Fabricate and install support structures for machinery when needed Monitor equipment performance and document maintenance activities Follow all safety protocols and procedures in an industrial environment Respond promptly to emergency repair situations Maintain accurate records of repairs, part replacements, and equipment history Requirements 2-3 years minimum experience as a millwright, maintenance mechanic, or similar role Previous manufacturing experience required High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various positions Valid driver's license Willingness to work overtime or off-hours when necessary for critical repairs Understanding of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting #M1
