ResponsibilitiesReview deviations in the execution of the monthly production plan with the Planning department, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Identify mid/long-term production constraints in conjunction with Planning and recommend appropriate actions.Lead staff to improve productivity and quality levels to meet departmental goals by identifying trends and issues.Spearhead continuous improvement efforts to streamline operations and reduce production costs.Collaborate with QA and Regulatory departments to resolve CAPAs and Non-Conformance Reports.Understand, teach, and maintain GMP practices for manufacturing medical devices.Prioritize maintenance activities in coordination with the Maintenance Manager.Execute toolroom plans with the Tool Room Supervisor.Participate in the development of budget plans and lead execution to meet them.Direct, develop, and enhance Molding Technicians' capabilities and manage their performance.Analyze and compile production reporting data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.Interact with Engineering to correct deviations between actual and standard output rates, BOMs, routers, etc.Define and communicate departmental and individual goals to achieve corporate objectives.Essential SkillsProven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 15-20 people, including supervisors, process techs, and mold makers.Injection molding and packaging.Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
