Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-Line Manufacturing Managers (level K) to support the Manufacturing Operations Team based out of Portland, Oregon.

As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate the BPS (Boeing Production System) culture, tools and key performance indicators. Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.Acquires resources, provides technical management of team and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Portland, Oregon.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives.1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.Ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment1+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading team1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadershipExperience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.1+ years Experience machining or assembling aerospace product

Shift:

This position is for 1st and 2nd shift and placement will be determined once candidate is selected. Must be willing to support on any shift.

Summary pay range: $115,900 - $134,200
