TCS provides application-specific, multi-core cable, and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries. **Job Summary:** General facility and machine troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** + Machine repair, rebuilding and retrofitting, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Structural, Electrical, and Electronics (Basic working knowledge of PLC’s, Drives, etc.) + Performs preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical and safety standards. + Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction or failure of manufacturing equipment and apply corrective action to resolve re-occurring issues. + Ability to utilize various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and monitoring equipment performance. + Perform basic plumbing, electrical and structure repair in and around the facility + Work in a safe and organized manner + Assist with the installation of new equipment + Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools as required + Perform Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with company policy. + Working knowledge of PC based Microsoft office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel + Prior Forklift certification. + Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent verbal & written communication skills with strong attention to detail + Ability to read/interpret documents such as drawings, work instructions, process sheets, shop orders, etc. + Good driving record and current, valid driver license to operate company vehicle as required. + Availability for overtime as required. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE** + Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school. + Minimum 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. + Manufacturing automation equipment experience is a plus.
