Why does this role exist?
This role is critical to scaling the company’s operations as they expand product lines and distribution channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing & Logistics Specialist will manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth coordination with domestic and international manufacturers and logistics partners. The goal is to optimize production timelines, inventory flow, and fulfillment processes to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
The Impact you’ll makeManufacturing Coordination\nLiaise with domestic and overseas manufacturers to manage production schedules and capacity\nMonitor material flow and ensure timely delivery of components for assembly\nCollaborate with quality control teams to maintain product standards\n
Logistics & Fulfillment Management\nOversee inbound shipments and outbound delivery, including freight, warehousing, and last-mile logistics\nCoordinate with 3PL providers and freight forwarders to ensure timely, cost-effective shipping\nTrack shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays\n
Inventory & Systems Oversight\nReconcile inventory data across ERP (e.g., NetSuite, DEAR), 3PL, and internal tracking systems\nForecast inventory needs in partnership with Operations, Customer Experience, and Finance teams\nIdentify and address inventory discrepancies or inefficiencies\n
Process Improvement & Compliance\nLead initiatives to streamline manufacturing and logistics workflows, reducing costs and increasing efficiency\nEnsure compliance with international trade, customs, and shipping regulations\nSupport sustainability and quality control efforts as needed\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nMinimum 2 years experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain management\nProven experience working with domestic and international manufacturers\nFamiliarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or DEAR\n\nExperience managing 3PL relationships and freight forwarding\n\nBackground in DTC or CPG product environments, preferably in a startup or high-growth setting\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam\nBack-up computer and internet connection\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\nYour Superpowers:\nStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail\nProficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and ERP software\nExcellent vendor and stakeholder communication and relationship management\nProactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently\nAdaptability and eagerness to contribute in a fast-paced, evolving environment\nYou should apply if… \nYou thrive in hands-on roles where you can make an immediate impact\nYou are operationally sharp, process-oriented, and take ownership of your responsibilities\nYou value collaboration and enjoy working cross-functionally with teams across operations, finance, and customer experience\nYou are motivated by continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results\nYou are comfortable managing multiple priorities and navigating complex supply chain challenges\n\nWhat to expect...
