Manufacturing Expeditor
**Job Title: Expeditor** **Job Description** This role serves as a crucial link between production and planning. The incumbent will be responsible for extracting data from ERP/MRP systems and accurately interpreting it into Excel. A significant part of the day will be spent on the production floor, assisting with shipment planning and verifying quantities and inventory. **Responsibilities** + Establish priorities for specific customer orders. + Revise schedules according to established priorities, availability of workers, parts, materials, and equipment. + Distribute jobs to departments, specifying the number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced. + Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work. + Provide information on changes in processing methods received from document control. + Compile reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to machine/equipment failures to inform production-planning personnel of production delays. + Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. + Experience in production or manufacturing environments. + Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control. + Strong administrative and clerical skills. + Computer literacy with knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and MRP/inventory control systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, gathering and analyzing information skillfully. + Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. + Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality, and applies feedback to improve performance. + Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner. + Ability to read and comprehend English. **Why Work Here?** Employees typically convert to full-time status within 90 days. The attire and dress code are not specified, allowing for flexibility in work attire. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
