Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Shop Floor Support Leader
**Country:** Mexico **Location:** LOC5001: Carrier - Plant A, Galeana 469 Ote, Santa Catarina, 66350 Mexico **About the Role:** Responsible for providing IT hardware technology innovation to support MES system functionality on floor also on hardware of new manufacturing projects in Carrier México plants and comply with equipment technology requirements defined by Carrier IT Corporation. **Key Responsibilities:** Evaluate and provide IT hardware technology innovation to support MES system functionality in Carrier Mexico plants. Analyze, define and develop the budget of hardware requirements for TOW and NPI manufacturing projects of the plants according to the market. Responsible MES´s procurement process execution (interacting with Carrier suppliers) of IT hardware requirements based on the market for TOW and NPI manufacturing projects of the plants. Interaction with other plant´s areas for workstations readiness to ensure MES system´s hardware installation and functionality. MES´s Hardware configuration and installation on each workstation required on TOW and NPI projects. Support MES sys and its hardware functionality on TOW and NPI projects on floor during MCS, Pilot and Start up Production to ensure MES system with its hardware functionality. Leading the refresh of MES system´s IT hardware innovation on Carrier México plants (supporting with IT site leaders). Training and coaching to MES Shop Floor Support team about new IT hardware implemented on the floor and new projects. **As a minimum you must have:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer System Engineering + MES Shop Floor Systems Support: 10+ year of experience + Shop Floor IT Hardware: (Zebra, SATO), BC Printers (Zebra), Radio Frequency Guns (Motorola, Intermec), Scanners: Handheld & Fix (Cognex), Printer Applicators, Vision Camaras (COGNEX), OPC (Open Platform Communication with PLCs) software experience: 10+ year + Knowledge of communication protocols: RF, Wi-Fi, Cellular. + Microsoft Office 2010 experience. + SQL 2012 + basic experience to manage inquires. + English basic.
