CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Manufacturing Equipment Integration Software Developer. **Type:** Contract **Job Title:** Manufacturing Equipment Integration Software Developer **Location:** Remote, required to be within 1-2 hour commutable distance in one of the following office locations: + Corning, NY + Charlotte, NC + Vineland, NJ + Phoenix, AZ + Hemlock, MI + Hickory, NC + Blacksburg, VA + Keller, TX + Boston, MA **Pay Rate:** $51.15 to $69.39 **Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm **Education:** See Required Qualifications **Description** The Manufacturing Equipment Integration Developer is responsible for writing, testing, and deploying software solutions to integrate manufacturing equipment with enterprise systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. This role involves developing detailed software code, implementing communication protocols, and optimizing data flow to ensure seamless equipment integration. The developer plays a key role in supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives and enhancing production efficiency through reliable and scalable technical solutions. **Requirements** • Develop software to integrate manufacturing equipment with MES and ERP systems. • Implement communication protocols such as OPC UA, SECS/GEM, TCP/IP, and MQTT. • Configure messaging and integration frameworks including ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, and Kafka. • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and deployment support for equipment integration solutions. • Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. **Required Qualifications** **Education** • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field – preferred • Associate’s degree with relevant experience – minimum required **Qualifications** • 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on Java or C# • Experience integrating manufacturing equipment with MES and ERP systems • Familiarity with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or MQTT • Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, IoT, and SCADA tools • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab) • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team **Additional Information** • No third party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment-qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company **To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to** **JoAnn.Abramo@ctg.com** **.** The expected base salary for this position ranges from $51.15 to $69.39.
