**Role purpose**
Effectively lead technical support of GKN Core Process, ensuring GKN standards compliance and best practice deployment. Lead internal audit and KPI improvement by developing, monitoring and reporting of fixed actions plans. Support Technology and Manufacturing Development Manager (TMDM) for standards creation / updating and local skills development. Attend Regional or Global meetings (overseas), occasionally
**Key responsibilities**
1. **Maintain production processes** , including control plans, **FMEA** , and process documentation.
2. Ensure compliance with **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** .
3. **Develop new processes and prototypes** to improve production efficiency.
4. **Implement and launch new production lines** or transfers.
5. **Troubleshoot production issues** and implement corrective actions.
6. Identify and execute **cost-saving initiatives** within manufacturing operations.
7. **Manage tool and equipment lifecycle** to optimize performance and durability.
8. Apply **GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)** for accurate design interpretation.
**Requirements & Skills**
+ Bachelorâs degree in **Electronics, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering** .
+ **3 years of experience** in manufacturing processes.
+ Knowledge of **simulation software (Autocad, Creo)** .
+ Experience in **mechanical and numerical control systems** .
+ Experience in **floor processes** and **process documentation** .
**Skills:**
+ **Teamwork** â Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ **Leadership** â Capacity to lead and coordinate process improvements.
+ **Numerical Control Handling** â Programming and operating CNC equipment.
+ **Software Skills** â Proficiency in **Autocad** and **SolidWorks** .
+ **Core Tools** â Knowledge of **APQP** and **ISO standards** .
