**SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** **:**
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for setup, installation, and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment, and tooling. This position supports operations and engineering with ensuring consistent production output for machines.
**REPORTING TO** :
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Install, align, secure, measure, and adjust appropriate tooling, dies, and fixtures associated with production equipment.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, calibrate, and maintain production machinery.
+ Conduct inspections and tests to ensure efficiency and organize test results.
+ Partner with maintenance and operations to solve equipment availability related to machine functions.
+ Train operators, maintenance, and other necessary personnel on proper setup and adjustment of manufacturing equipment.
+ Assist in installation and set up of new manufacturing equipment.
+ Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
+ Document technical procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ On call support will be required periodically and when required to support project work, hours may flex.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job successfully.
+ Understanding of machining, assembly, fabrication, and automation.
+ Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Detailed knowledge of reading, drawing and understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing.
+ Demonstarted ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues.
+ Experience using mechanical measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and various gauges
+ Ability to assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
+ Experience using Microsoft suite.
+ Experience with CAD software and machine programming.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Associate Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent technical experience, required.
+ 5+ years of industrial equipment experience, required.
+ Machining or Tool and Die Background, preferred.
+ Certified Manufacturing Technician (CMT), preferred.

**Total Rewards**
The compensation range for this position is $65,700.00 - $98,500.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
