This position is responsible for overseeing and guiding the manufacturing team through Lean manufacturing practices & Core tools in order to develop/establish processes that ensure personnel safety and ergonomic conditions, product quality, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to drive innovation, reduce costs, and ensure time delivery of products in a safe a compliant environment.

Your Responsibilities:

-          Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers to support daily production and long-term strategic goals.

-          Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, EHS, Materials and design engineering.

-          Driving process improvements using Lean manufacturing, six sigma and other methodologies.

-          Oversee the implementation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes.

-          Coordinate and lead new product implementation projects (through APQP or other methodologies).

-          Develop and maintain process documentation such as work instruction, PFMEA´s, Layout, etc.

-          Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

-          Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for manufacturing issues.

-          Track and report key performance indicators related to quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.

-          Support capital projects including justification, planning and implementation.

-          Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will have:

·       Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

·       4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.

·       Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, core tools and other process improvements methodologies.

·       Proficient in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis tools.

·       Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

·       Familiarity with ISO/AS standard compliance requirements & industry 4.0 technologies.

You will report to Manufacturing and CI Manager.
