Job Description
Design and monitors methods, sequences of operations in the manufacture and fabrication of parts, subassemblies and final assemblies for our products; and define actions to ensure continuous improvement of processes to ensure the quality, capacity and cost of our products.
This position report to our Manufacturing Engineering & ROX Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Guide communication between manufacturing engineering and project department in the continuity and validations of product development, improvement and incorporation in the plant to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and provide ideas and alternatives in the development of the same.
2. Select, develop and evaluate manufacturing engineering personnel, specifically engineers and technicians, ensuring that they meet the competencies, skills, attitudes and aptitudes to ensure the functioning of the department.
3. Define the strategy and annual goals of the engineering department and lead the manufacturing engineering team to perform their daily work by managing the processes, resources and operations to produce with the required quality and at the right cost.
4. Monitor Main Performers Indicators (Indicators) (e.g. RTYL/DPU and scrap) and design/implement action plans to improve terms of contribution to quality and financial expectations of the operation, ensuring our goals are met.
5. Define the strategy of capital plan for the Manufacuring processes based on Quality, Cost and availability evaluation, contributing with the correct investment of the Capital for Operations.
6. Lead the monitoring, control and engineering of manufacturing processes, defining improvement plans according to the results of advanced manufacturing equipment and technical evaluations and ensuring that the plant acquires the right technology for the right application and cost.
7. Lead the producibility program, managing all the Issues that affect Legacy products performance in cost, quality and availability, helping the operation to provide organic productivity and increase customer satisfaction to the BUs.
8. Monitor on facility's Capacity and flow of all the manufacturing processes to evaluate the future constraints against the forecast, ensuring the continued growth of the product families.
9. Lead Rockwell Operation System (ROS) related categories and define/implement improvement actions to achieve desired level supporting the Operations strategy of support the continues improvement of plant's production system.
10. Support external Engineering functions located in DR, such as electrical and mechanical continuation engineers; be sure that relationship and results over their activities in the plant continues contributing with the plant operation.
11. Define plans for support the Customer service metrics as Lead Time reduction, working in process improvement to influence the total Cycle time the products build on the site.

13. Comply with RA's Ethics, Environment, Safety, Occupational Health and Quality standards, and support the values and strategies of our Company to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
Minimum Required Education:
Industrial Engineering Degree or Similar.
Desirable: Master's degree in manufacturing/engineering or related.
Six Sigma and Lean certification.
Previous manufacturing background in assembly or machining environments.
Minimum Required Experience:
For the level 2: +2 years of experience in similar positions. ISO certified and knowledgeable in good manufacturing practices.

Full bilingual Spanish/English (Preferable).
Ability to train & inspire/motivate others.
Plan and perform assigned tasks promptly.
Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Navigate through the involved in New Product Development.
Ability to understand engineering drawings & blueprints. High SAP System knowledge.
