Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary:** The Denison Facility, Caterpillar’s global manufacturing site for Surface Rock Drills, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Facilities Engineering & Maintenance departments. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and support long-term strategic goals for manufacturing efficiency and safety. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** **Leadership & Organizational Development** + Develop and maintain an effective organization capable of achieving operational and strategic objectives. + Mentor, coach, and evaluate a team of managers, engineers, and hourly staff. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and innovation. **Manufacturing Engineering & Operations** + Manage manufacturing engineering expertise to ensure cost-effective processes. + Oversee plant layouts, machine moves, and new equipment installations. + Lead development and implementation of manufacturing methods, tooling, and standards. + Ensure alignment of manufacturing capabilities with product programs and capacity schedules. **Facilities & Equipment Management** + Direct all plant maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. + Coordinate capital projects, including forecasting, planning, and execution. + Monitor equipment performance and plan for future capacity and technology needs. **Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)** + Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and corporate safety/environmental standards. + Lead safety training, hazard identification, and risk mitigation efforts. + Collaborate with corporate EHS to develop and implement safety policies and reporting. **Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement** + Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-reduction strategies. + Translate demand forecasts into production and capacity requirements. + Monitor industry trends and integrate emerging technologies and best practices. **Top Candidates Will Also Have:** + Engineering Degree desired or extensive Manufacturing Engineering experience + Experience in Caterpillar or other prime product operations, including EHS, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering. **What Skills You will have:** **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** - Expert in evaluating complex situations and guiding teams toward effective solutions. **Capacity Planning & Management - MFG:** - Skilled in aligning production capabilities with business forecasts and growth plans. **Lean Manufacturing:** **-** Strategic leader in implementing and sustaining lean practices. **Manufacturing Processes and equipment:** - Deep understanding of modern manufacturing technologies and infrastructure. **Manufacturing Safety and Compliance:** - Authority in OSHA/EPA regulations and proactive safety culture development. **Additional Information about this posting:** The primary job location for this position is Denison TX Domestic relocation assistance is available This position may require up to 10% travel Visa sponsorship is **not** available for this position **Summary Pay Range:** $144,960.00 - $217,320.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
